laurel covered valleys; autumnal colors bursting red, orange, and yellow dancing up the hillsides; sounds of cheering crowds and cannon fire echoing off of Salt Pond Mountain on a crisp Saturday afternoon. Southwest Virginia is our home and we would be nowhere else.

Given an opportunity to contribute to the fabric of our community by building new homes, Progress Street Builders was conceived in the mid 90's by Eric Sallee, Stan Whitmarsh, and Don Hughes. Named after one of Blacksburg's original streets in 1776, our name pulls from the past while reflecting on a bright future. It is a

privilege and honor to live and work in a place filled with natural beauty and inspiring energy. Embracing the responsibility of maintaining the attributes so dear to us - the people who live here - is a driving factor in all new projects we undertake or even consider.
